Meet the Doctor:

Dr. Puneet Aulakh DDS:
Hi there everyone.
First let me get the phonetic pronunciation of my name out of
the way; its "au-luck", or you can just call me Dr. A
:-)
For those new to the practice, Bannerwood Family & Cosmetic Dentistry
has been around since June of 2007. Our
mission here at Bannerwood is to provide you with the very best
dental care in the most caring, supportive, and nurturing manner
possible. We believe in promoting long-term dental-health
through the most superior treatments available. We listen
carefully to our patients, and partner with them to maintain their
dental health. Long term dental-health can be optimally achieved
through a team effort.
One of our goals is to educate you about your dental health.
We don't want what we do to be a mystery. When we
recommend something, we want you to know the "why." The more
you are aware, the better you are with your oral care, the less we
have to do, and hopefully the happier you are!!!
We utilize leading-edge technologies, the latest materials and
tested techniques. We are at an exciting time, where a lot of
new "technologies" are being introduced. Some are proven and
some are still in development. I believe that the only way I
can provide the very best dental care is through continuing
education (CE). I have made a commitment to continuing
education. Washington state requires 24 hours of annual
continuing education. My goal is to achieve at least 150 hours
a year. To this end I am enrolled in the
Washington
AGD Mastertrack study group. We meet 4 times a year for 4 days.
The group consists of some of the best dentists in the state of
Washington.
I am also a board member of the
Washington Academy of General Dentistry. The
AGD’s mission is to serve the needs and represent
the interests of general dentists, to promote the oral health of the
public, and to foster continued proficiency of general dentists
through quality continuing dental education in order to better serve
the public.
Our Core Values at the WAGD can be summed up in one word EDUCATE:
Excellence in oral health care; Diversity; Universal acceptance of
the general dentist as a gatekeeper of oral health care; Continuous
life long learning; Advocacy and representation; Teamwork,
camaraderie, and mentorship; Ethical, honest, and credible behavior.

Always feel free to
